Morah Casey Moir
Morah Casey began her Jewish journey at Temple Ahavat Achim as a child, where she attended SCRS and was bat-mitzvahed. She graduated high school from Gann Academy, and then received a BA in education and literature from Hampshire College. After teaching elementary school in New Mexico for two years, she moved back to Boston, where she teaches English at City on a Hill Charter School.
Hi, my name is Stephanie Band and I am the new Kindergarten/1st Grade religious school teacher at TAA. This is my 5th year as a religious school teacher, the previous four were at Temple B'Nai Abraham. I have a strong passion for Jewish education and learning. My passion began in high school as a participant in United Synagogue Youth (USY), continued in college through Hillel, and maintains through adulthood by involvement with the Lappin Foundation and teaching religious school. I am a full time special education teacher during the week. I love music and will often sing and dance. I am excited to join the TAA community and look forward to meeting you!
