Rav Naomi Ordination Kiddush
Shabbat, May 24th 11:30a to 1:00pOn the day before Rav Naomi's Ordination Ceremony, there will be an informal kiddush lunch in the Social Hall following services to welcome her sisters and brothers-in-law to TAA. The congregation is invited, but RSVP is required.

Sunday, May 25th 1:45p to 5:00pThis ceremony is when rabbinic candidates officially become rabbis. TAA members are invited to celebrate this momentous and special occasion with Rav Naomi, her classmates, and the wider community. Hebrew College, 1860 Washington Street, Newton 1:45 PM Ordination, reception on campus followed by casual after-party at Auburndate Cove until 6:30 PM. RSVP by May 15.

Adult Ed: Deepening Our Connection With One Another Panel Discussion
Thursday, May 29th 7:00p to 9:00pModerated by Alan Feldman, this panel is inspired by a recent book by Rabbi Sharon Brous, The Amen Effect: Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and the World. The panelists will address issues of loneliness/isolation and the importance of community as they describe how this wisdom has guided them in their professional work and personal lives. Panelists include: - Brent Davison, a local social worker with decades of clinical experience - Melissa Dimond, Executive Director of Wellspring House, which supports members of our community with housing, jobs, and education - Rav Naomi, the spiritual leader of TAA

SCFLP Siyum & Shavuot Program
Sunday, Jun 1st 4:00p to 8:00pIn addition to being the date of our SCFLP Siyyum (closing ceremony), June 1 is also Erev Shavuot. As we did last year, we will hold a Tikkun Leyl Shavuot with yummy dairy snacks and "dig into" our community learning. Rav Naomi is looking to include lots of different folks to offer brief teachings (half an hour or shorter) for the Tikkun. If you have something you'd like to teach, please get in touch with Rav Naomi.
